I attended Hollins University for my BA in Biology.  I received my MA in Education from Virginia Tech.  I have worked in several different technical fields before deciding that I wanted to teach.  I worked for 3 years in a couple of Veterinary clinics and hospitals.  I also spent 6 years in the pharmaceutical industry doing research. This is my second year of teaching.

I have a passion for science.  I have loved science since I was in high school.  I hope that I can pass my enthusiasm over to my students because then class will be really fun!

When I am not teaching in school, in enjoy spending time with my kids and husband.  In my free time I like to read, scrapbook, and go for walks.

I am really excited about this year!
