The 2013-2014 school year marks my 14th year as an Educator in Loudoun County Public Schools. This school year will be my fourth year at Rolling Ridge Elementary as the Assistant Principal. I am very excited to work with such a dedicated staff, hard-working students, supportive parents and caring community.
I was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada where I began my teaching career as a band director for both middle and high school levels. After teaching for 17 years I moved to Northern Virginia and continued as a band director for the Loudoun County Public Schools. After three years of teaching band in Loudoun County, I decided to pursue a career in administration. I continued my education from George Mason University and received a Masters of Instruction and Curriculum and an additional Masters of Education Leadership.
When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my two adult children. Among my passions are music, exercising, fishing, skeet shooting, and traveling back and forth to Canada to see my family.
I feel honored to be the Assistant Principal at Rolling Ridge Elementary. I look forward to all of the new challenges we will face together and to all the successes we will achieve together. I invite you to contact me with any questions or concerns anytime @ 571-434-4540 or email.
