2012 LCPS REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIR
RESULTS FOR HERITAGE HIGH SCHOOL
Congratulations to Ari Dyckovsky on his BEST OF FAIR win!! Ari is one of 4 LCPS students who will represent Loudoun County at the International Science and Engineering Fair, May 13-18 in Pittsburgh, PA. His project took 1st place in the Physics and Astronomy category (Click HERE to read a Washington Post Article about Ari and his project, which he also competed as an Intel Talent Search Finalist with recently). Ari was also awarded 2nd place for Aerospace Corporation, a CIA Award, Best Physics and Astronomy project from the Northern VA Dental Society, and the Best Overal US Army Award. Good Luck Ari at International!
Rachel Vogler won 1st place in the Earth and Planetary Science category and also was in the competition for Best of Fair. Though she was not selected for a Best of Fair award, Rachel does qualify for the Virginia State Science Fair on April 6-7. Rachel was also awarded:

- Association for Women Geoscientists Award
- Office of Naval Research: Naval Science Award
- US Army Award
