This school year will mark Mrs. Booker's thirteenth year in education. She has taught in Loudoun County for ten years, including six years in fourth grade at Ashburn Elementary. She is looking forward to working with the Evergreen Mill community for a fourth year.
Mrs. Booker holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia in the Classics, Latin & Greek. She holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. She has also taken courses toward both Gifted and ESL endorsements.
She looks forward to creating a positive community of learners who are valued as individuals. Her classroom is always a safe, inviting place where every child knows he or she is loved and accepted. While learning to make good choices is the focal point of her behavior management plan, every new day brings with it a blank slate when a child enters Mrs. Booker's room.
