Loudoun Education Alliance of Parents (LEAP)
 
 
The Loudoun Education Alliance of Parents (LEAP) was founded in 1989 as a non-partisan and non-commercial network for interaction among local parent groups, students, teachers, administrators and the Loudoun County School Board concerning educational issues affecting our children and our communities. LEAP's mission is to provide an active forum to discuss and share the latest educational thoughts, plans and ideas. LEAP meets each month with a relevant panel program presentation and monthly updates from the LCPS Superintendent, as well as various members of the Loudoun County School Board and/or the Board of Supervisors. Each LCPS school elects a delegate from its PTA, PTO or PTSO to attend the LEAP meetings. However, members of the community are always welcome to attend.

Misti Bookerwill participate as the Evergreen Mill Elementary School PTA representative. She will summarize each session for our newsletter so that all parents in our community can benefit from this valuable resource. Members of the community are welcome to attend the meetings themselves, as well.
