The Loudoun County School Board recently welcomed the student School Board members for the 2013-14 school year during an informal meeting at the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Administrative Offices in Ashburn.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid” author Jeff Kinney was the commencement speaker (his niece was among the graduates) at the Briar Woods High School graduation on Monday, June 10th, at George Mason University’s Patriot Center.
Scott Hamberger, CEO and co-founder Fortessa Tableware Solutions, LLC, gave Freedom High School’s Class of 2013 a realistic look at the world and their role in it during graduation ceremonies June 10th at George Mason University’s Patriot Center.
“I would personally like to thank you for all you have done for Loudoun County High School over the past four years,” said Loudoun County High School Principal William E. Oblas as he addressed the Class of 2013 at its graduation ceremony June 10th.
Loudoun Valley High School celebrated its 2013 graduation ceremony on Monday, June 10th, inside the high school’s gym due to rain. However, the weather did not dampen any of the spirit and enthusiasm of the 254 graduates.
“Tonight we pause to reflect on the accomplishments of the Class of 2013”, said Tuscarora High School Principal Pamela Paul-Jacobs as she welcomed the families and friends of the graduates on Sunday, June 9th.
“Today we celebrate the accomplishments of 297 Titans,” said Dominion High School Principal Dr. John Brewer as he welcomed the family and friends of the Class of 2013 to the school’s graduation ceremony. “For the past four years, these young men and women have grown to exemplify our mission to promote the success of every Titan.
Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Adult Education Coordinator Irene C. Riordan opened the Adult Education Graduation Ceremony held on Wednesday, June 5th, in the Stone Bridge High School auditorium with some facts about the Class of 2013.
Sean Rogers and Michael Rexrode of Loudoun County High School were named the Dulles District Boys’ Lacrosse Co-Player of the Year through a vote of the district’s coaches. Loudoun County’s Dave Colangelo was named Coach of the Year.
The Loudoun Education Foundation (LEF) honored 31 outstanding educators, including the 2013 Teacher of the Year and Principal of the Year during a recognition dinner on Friday, May 31st, at the National Conference Center.
Broad Run High School senior Michael Margulis was named the Cedar Run District Boys’ Soccer Player of the Year through a vote of the district’s coaches. The Spartans’ Jon Hicks was named Coach of the Year.
